Computer Business Consultants CEO, Clinton Pownall, Reflects on How His Military Career Prepared Him for Crisis in New Interview.

Computer Business Consultants CEO, Clinton Pownall, was recently interviewed in Authority Magazine regarding his past military experiences. The article, “How To Survive And Thrive During A Time Of Crisis; 5 Lessons I Learned From My Military Experience” is part of a series for the magazine.

“I was honored to be a part of Authority Magazine’s series exploring the subject of how the military prepared me for dealing with a crisis,” noted Pownall. “My years of service in the United States Navy gave me the foundation and dedication needed to succeed when I began Computer Business and that experience continues to push me every day.”

The article delved into Pownall’s six years of service in the United States Navy, including the story behind his Navy Achievement Medal, and the leaders that have inspired him along the way. While his military service is not something he frequently discusses he is regularly recognized for his service. In 2019, the Orlando Business Journal named Computer Business one of the Top 25 Florida Veteran Owned Businesses.

“The military provided me with opportunities to overcome and to succeed,” says Pownall. “In the military, you build upon many small accomplishments into one big accomplishment of serving. This provided me with security, life-long friendships, and confidence.”
